I do not have a dog, but my family included dogs from the time I was a young child until I was in my early-twenties.

It pains me to write this, but after watching many of Cesar Millan’s shows and reading a few of his books, I realize that I did not know how to properly train or communicate with the dogs I loved so much.

Until I am ready to make the commitment to have a dog again, I will continue to watch Cesar Millan’s shows and read his books/blog… in the name of research, of course.

I was inspired to write this blog post after watching Season 1, episode 7 (titled “Philadelphia Freedom”) of Cesar Millan’s Dog Nation because of the Throw Away Dogs Project.

It’s a great weekend!

I can’t wait to share more with you next week!

Have a wonderful (and productive) weekend! (*And remember- if you’ve had a busy week, sometimes relaxing is the best thing you can do for yourself.)

3-2-1… Take Off!

Thank you for visiting my blog! As you may have guessed, my name is Amber Green. I am an aspiring novelist, and freelance writer (this is my website for business purposes: www.thewriteresults.ca).

I am very comfortable as a writer (my instincts are sharp for brand reputation management, and I excel at writing copy for marketing purposes). I consider myself a chameleon when writing marketing collateral for my clients, as I am able to adopt the voice of the brand to connect with the company’s target audience,  but sharing my own opinions on a public forum is outside of my comfort zone. I was surprised by this personal revelation, but my initial resignation provided the inspiration for the title of this site: ‘It’s A Go!’

As an experienced social media manager, I am keen to explore social media trends, and discuss the current events prevalent online. I invite you to share your thoughts as a delve into my experiences and personal opinions in pursuit of greater understanding of the world around us, and to achieve a greater degree of personal growth and awareness.

Inspired by the following quote by Tim Ferriss, author of The 4-Hour Work Week, I am excited to launch my blog, and develop my own voice and personal brand via this website and its corresponding social media pages. (Please follow me on Twitter: @ItsAGo_blog and Facebook: @ItsAGoBlog)

““The stars will never align, and the traffic lights of life will never all be green at the same time. The universe doesn’t conspire against you, but it doesn’t go out of its way to line up the pins either. Conditions are never perfect. ‘Someday’ is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you. Pro and con lists are just as bad. If it’s important to you and you want to do it ‘eventually,’ just do it and correct course along the way.” (Quote via ‘Entrepreneur.com.’)

It’s A Go! Join me, and give your dreams the green light.
